This is my code when viewing crystal report 9 reports using vb6. A had a program with an mdi form. When i try to view the report for the second time i got a 'memory cannot be read error' especially when i change to another form and return to the report window again. I cant figure out what seems to be the problem. Public Sub callreport 'procedure to view the report Dim path As String Dim oReport As New CRAXDDRT.Report Dim crApp As New CRAXDDRT.Application Me.MousePointer = vbHourglass 'path = 'E: middlewares 2307 reports ' path = 'C: 2307 ' Set oReport = crApp.OpenReport(path & '2307.rpt') oReport.ReadRecords With CRViewer91.ReportSource = oReport.ViewReport.Refresh End With Set oReport = Nothing Set crApp = Nothing Me.MousePointer = vbArrow SSTab1.Tab = 1 End Sub.

Code Words: ' Crystal Reports 9 Report Viewer Crashes Terminates Exits trying to show a report for de second time ' Hi VB6 Fans. I'm currently using Visual Basic 6.0 (sp6) and Crystal Reports v9. Just a while ago I was suffering the same issue with my report form (the one with the viewer9 control). It showed the report perfectly for the first time, but it just crashed every time I tried to show the report (any report)for the second time.
